When Standard Treatment Hasn't Been Enough
Most facilities treat one thing. Chandler goes further.
You Don’t Start Over at Every Level
Detox to residential to PHP to IOP to sober living — all on the same campus, with the same team. No transfers. No new intake process. Your treatment builds on itself.
A Medical Director Who Is All Three
Board-certified addictionologist. Psychiatrist. D.O. One person overseeing your addiction medicine, your mental health, and your medical care. That’s rare.
Dual Diagnosis Is the Standard Here
If addiction and a mental health condition are both in the picture, both get treated — not one after the other. Integrated care from day one.
Built for Veterans
Our VA Track addresses pre-service, in-service, and post-service experiences. TriWest accepted. Individual outpatient sessions continue even after IOP ends.
Therapy That Reaches People When Nothing Else Has
Holistic and expressive therapies are integrated into care, including movement-based practices, mindfulness, creative expression, and experiential groups—used intentionally as clinical tools, not extras.
Five Structured Days of PHP
Our PHP runs five days a week — one more than the standard of care. Because recovery doesn’t stop on weekends.
Masters-Level Therapists. Every Session.
All therapists are licensed and masters-level. Individual therapy weekly, group therapy five times a week — at every level of care.
FMLA Handled From Day One
Your case manager starts FMLA paperwork on admission. Turnaround within a week. You focus on getting better.
If you've been searching for a long time
You've Probably Already Tried Something That Didn't Work
Most people who come to Chandler have tried before. A shorter program. Something outpatient-only. A facility that didn’t go far enough. That’s not failure. What it usually means is the treatment didn’t match what was actually going on.
Virtue Recovery Center is built for the cases that need more. More clinical depth. More levels of care. More time with a team that knows your full history. If you or someone you love has been through the system and it hasn’t held — this is worth a conversation.
Start Where You Need To. Stay As Long as It Takes
Every level of care on-site. You move through treatment with the same team, in the same place, on your timeline.
Medical Detox (3.7 Sub-Acute)
Residential Treatment (RTC)
Six houses. Up to 10 beds each. Home setting, not a ward. Individual therapy weekly, group therapy five days a week with masters-level clinicians. On-site gym, Saturday outings, Sunday visitation.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Five days a week and six hours of structured daily programming. For clients stepping down from residential who need full support before returning to daily life.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Five days a week. Continued structure while reintegrating. Veterans receive individual outpatient sessions even after IOP completion.
Sober Living
On-site housing supporting outpatient clients. The bridge between treatment and independence.

Virtue center is a great place for recovery. I worked my third time coming from street drugs and it was the most success in life thanks to hardworking staff here. i was treated well from start until I went home. The food was really great. Thank you for the kind nurses specially Eric in particular. He helped me through darkest moments in my detox, I will never forget this place and tell everyone that need real help to look nowhere else but Virtue center

I have gone through the DETOX program here, then I moved over to the residential program for 42 days, now Im in the PHP program. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff at Virtue.
I plan on staying as long as my insurance will allow me, because I feel I not only have a chance with my recovery, but I feel like they are family here.
My way of thinking has never worked, and the disease of the brain doesn’t heal in 60 days.
The more time I put in my recovery, my chances of success will improve dramatically. Who knows, maybe I might work here or in recovery someday, the sky is the limit when you do the next right thing and follow this and the AA program.
Thank you 🙂

Virtue is great place for Recovery. The best part is the food. OMAR IS AN AMAZING CHEF Better than a most restaurants total 4 Star meals you can tell the days he’s working. Not to mention one of the coolest guys you’ll ever meet real supportive towards recovery. Thanks Omar. Oh yeah rest of staff is great too. They gave me more than a Fighting Chance for lasting recovery.

All the people at Virtue in Chandler are phenomenal. Where do I begin WHOA, when I arrived I was hurting mentally, physically, and spiritually. I dont remember her name but the beautiful red haired woman welcomed me with open arms with no judegment of my appearance. I was out of my mind high, but knew I wanted/needed to get sober. She processed my intake which included body search. I was extremely embarrassed about the scars I had accumulated throughout my 1 year relapse with meth and eventually blues. However, her and the Nurse on NOC shift had zero judegment in their eyes, and were only concerned with my health and getting me some help. They immediately helped to start get me situated. I went through a series of questions surveys which is standard procedure everywhere. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. They comforted me and did everything under the sun to ease my anxiety that accompanied the idea of getting sober. I detoxed in this facility for a total of 8 days and 9 nights. Based on my experience in the house I highly recomend this place to anyone who wants to get sober. The mornings are geourgous and the nighttime smoke breaks lead to deep conversations with one staff member named Sheena (Miss you my sista from another mista) who honestly listened and gave honest feedback. Its beautiful wemon like her that leave a postive gift of hope lasting forever. Shes worth so much more than her pay grade. =>RAISE MATERIAL<= More importantly they put my health and life at the forefront of this detox process, The doctor was empathetic and I felt comfortable being open and honest with him about my previous drug history. The dark haired girl with a nose ring helped through many moments of here I thought I was gonna lose it. All the nurses and any other staff I forgot are all awesome. I strongly recomend this place to anyone even pondering the idea of sobriety. Your care is taken seriously with compassion and empathy every minute your here!

If you are suffering as I was, go to virtue! Honestly, I’m at a loss for words. I’m still taken from the genuine care and concern from every single person I came into contact with there at virtue recovery. Thinking about it, kind of reminds me when I was sick as a child, and my mother would take care of me until I was healthy again. So it’s like a mother’s love. Through the entire experience, I never felt for a second less than human and more like a peer. I appreciated most the votes of confidence from all the staff. There was no judgement. As a client of virtue, is quite apparent that the staff recognizes the challenges and difficulties when you are sick as I was so there was nothing much for me to worry about besides focusing on getting well in a very comfortable low stress environment. Unexpectedly refreshing if you ask me. Thanks virtue!!! God bless America!

I have nothing but praise for Virtue Recovery Center. The staff were very caring and the nurses were amazing during my detox and the therapy sessions did help me. We all felt like a family by the time we left. If you want to get better, this is where you should begin.

Real Questions We Hear Every Day
Can I really do detox, residential, and outpatient all in the same place?
Yes — and that’s rare. You move through every level of care with the same clinical team. Your therapist in residential is still part of your care in PHP. Nothing resets.
I have anxiety/depression on top of addiction. Can you treat both?
Yes. Our Medical Director is a board-certified psychiatrist and addictionologist. Co-occurring conditions are treated alongside addiction — not after.
My family member keeps refusing help. What do I do?
Call us anyway. We work with families in exactly this position every day. We can walk you through your options and be ready when they are.
What does a typical day look like?
Structured. Group therapy five days a week with a masters-level therapist. Weekly individual sessions. Gym time. Saturday outings. Bean the therapy dog on certain days. Drumming some evenings. Idle time is one of the biggest risks in early recovery — we keep it full on purpose.
I'm a veteran. Is this the right place?
Chandler has a dedicated VA Track built around the full military experience — before, during, and after service. TriWest accepted. Individual outpatient sessions continue even after IOP ends.
I've been to treatment before and relapsed. Is this different?
Probably — if what you had before wasn’t a full continuum. A relapse after a shorter program usually means the step-down wasn’t right. Tell us what happened and we’ll tell you what we’d do differently.
